I wish Christ Church, Trivandrum God's bountiful mercies and
blessing on your celebration of 150 years of glorious
ministry and outreach. I have very fond memories of Christ
Church dating back to the 1960's and 1970's. I was a proud
member of the Malayalam and English choirs under the
leadership of Richie Walsalam and Sunny Walsalam. May the
Almighty grant you the power to strengthen your ministry and
keep you united as one body of Christ in the years to come. |

I am so happy to see the beautiful CSI Church building along
with the members in Trivandrum. My thoughts go back and
imagine how the planters of this Church around 150 years ago
would have planted it. The Spirit of God has hovered over
your city and used His dear servants to found and nurture
this Church spiritually. This is the time we all should
remember all the founding pioneers, Pastors ay leaders and
the ancestors of this wonderful Church. I personally greet
you all 'THE CHURCH' to see many many joyful days of birth
days for generations |

In this vast ocean of life and climbing the stairs of my
life, I turn back occasionally to see my fruitful life,
remembering the beautiful old days, beginning with my
baptism, where for the third generation my family was
baptised there and buried there. whenever there is the
joyous and sadness in life I turn back and see my church
even I am not there and I am sure the guiding light from my
church is protecting and blessing me everyday of my life. I
will be back there where ever I am to have a peaceful life
after the short journey of my fruitful life .
WOW my church is 150 yrs ,God bless all the members of the
church and all the younger generations to come and let my
church be there as a guiding light ,a shining star until the
world ends. |

Warm wishes on the occasion of celebrating the 150th
Birthday. It should also be wonderful opportunity to witness
Christ for a long time. We wish and hope the Christ church
be a blessing to the society and for the entire Church. May
the LORD bless you to make the next 150 years ever even more
to celebrate . With God's help you will continue to be
beacon of Christ's light in the world. Let it also be a time
when we focus inwards and place ourselves to make and see it
as a real church of the and for the Christ, lord Jesus.
Times come and go, so do and will be the celebrations. but
as true children of god we should pledge ourselves more and
more to lords work amongst ourselves at this hour of
worldwide economic hardships and that will be the greatest
greatness for the children of Christ church. Let us be
beacons of light than burns and burns for the real glory for
the lord, god. may this be a time when we all find the
Christ inside us and be true imitation of the Christ in as
where we are.
May god, lord almighty bless the church in all the days and
deeds to come.
Shalom, Amen |

Hearty congratulations, my dear home church.
Indeed, blessed are we, the present members of the Christ
Church, Trivandrum, who are specially chosen and allowed to
live till day by the Lord to celebrate the 150th anniversary
of our church with heart filled with gratitude and joy. It
is indeed a rare privilege and an honor to be a part of
this year-long celebrations of thanks-giving and dedication
for unselfish service of the Lord and the mankind.
It is heartening to note that the various projects proposed
like the Feed the Hungry , the Cancer Awareness, the "Great
Family Re-union", the final Valedictory Function in November
2009 will be landmark events of the celebration, bringing
together the whole congregation for feeding the hungry,
caring the sick, building/renovating worshipping centres in
poor areas, loving the mankind and uniting souls for the
glorification of the Lord.
Now, living thousands of miles away from you all in the far
corner of the world, I wish and pray for the success of all
the projects and hope to join the programme as early as
possible.
May God, the Almighty continue to bless the celebrations,
enabling the Church to shine as a beckon light in the
capital city of Kerala spreading the message of hope, faith
and love around. Hallelujah. |

Greetings from the CSI Malayalam fraternity in Singapore.
Here we are a fledgling congregation – perhaps the youngest
of CSI Malayalam congregations abroad – made up of a
smattering of expatriate CSI members from Kerala trying to
make a dream come true. There you are celebrating a truly
significant landmark. 150 years! Wow! That there is this
grand old dame in Trivandrum holding the CSI banner reminds
us of a rich history that we are all part of. It humbles us
to see the distance we need to traverse, yet encourages us
to continue reaching ahead.
Christ Church, Trivandrum, you go, girl! |

The people of
the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa join me in greeting you in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ in celebration of your 150th
anniversary. It was a joy to celebrate our own 150th year as
a Diocese at the time of my election as Bishop in 2003.
These are special occasions to give thanks to God for His
faithfulness, as well as to recognise the faithful witness
to our Lord and Savior down the years of those who have come
before us. Often that witness was in difficult times.
In today's world we are blessed to know our brothers and
sisters in Christ across cyber space. Know that we remember
you in our prayers, and whenever we hear news from India,
think of you. God makes you closer to us through this
amazing ability to communicate, but also makes us mutually
responsible to one another in our being able to connect this
way. |

Bishop Alan Scarfe
Episcopal Diocese of Iowa |
