Logo Design Contest
Based on specific guidelines drawn up by the Church
Committee with the theme “ That they all may be
one”(john.17.20), a logo contest for the
sesquicentennial celebrations was notified for the
members and their families. Seven entries have been
received and an in-house expert team evaluated the logo
design elements and their explanations. The Logo
submitted by Mr.Ebby P Kuruvilla has been adjudged as
selected, to be the official logo of Christ Church,
Trivandrum Sesquicentennial Celebrations. This will
feature in all the correspondence, Publications and the
Jubilee Flag. While appreciating the efforts put forth
by all the contestants, a commendation certificate and
suitable prize would be awarded to the winner to be
presented during the valedictory function in November
2009.

Theme Song Contest
Theme Song based on guidelines on the above theme
brought in 6 entries from our members. An expert judging
committee consisting of Prof. George Onakkur and Prof. D
Benjamin, renowned Malayalam scholar and poet evaluated
the entries and selected the Theme Song written by Ms.
Kunjumol Koshy as the sesquicentennial theme song for
the celebrations. The Song was set to music by the
famous music director and conductor, Mr. Mathew T Itty
,one of our members, who is the Director of MBS Youth
Choir, Trivandrum. Initially a team of 65 members
practiced and rendered the theme song during the
inaugural thanksgiving service and the Flag hoisting
ceremony on 14 Nov.2008. Special commendation
certificate and prize would be given to Ms. Koshy and
Mr. Itty during the Valedictory function
